Hello sweeties, today I want to talk about a sensitive problem.
And that is skin problems. I
know a lot of people have problems looking after the skin.
But there are so
many things that could help improve your skin’s condition that you don’t even
know about.
Here are some of the best! Here are some of the things that I try
to do to keep my skin looking good.
1. Drink Green Tea
If your skin is in poor condition, it might be because you’re not
drinking enough water. Make sure you’re not dehydrating yourself by drinking
throughout the day. And if you want to go a step further, start drinking green tea.
Green tea gives you the same benefits of water with some added
extras. The main benefit of green tea is its anti-inflammatory components. This
means that it’ll help calm your skin down if it’s inflamed and blotchy. Also,
after making you green tea, if you're using tea bags, you can use them for the
bags under your eyes. Just put the used tea bags in the fridge for half an hour
then place them under your eyes. This little trick will help you calm your skin
and reduce the bags under your eyes.
2. Coconut Oil
It’s becoming more and more common for people to use skinny
coconut oil as a skin product. Some people
use it as sunscreen, but it’s seen as most useful for its ability to moisturize
the skin effectively.
It also limits acne breakouts. It’s particularly good if you
suffer from dry or cracking skin. It’ll feel quite greasy when you first apply
it, but the effects it’ll have on your skin could be immense. Keeping your skin
moisturized is vital for keeping your skin in top condition. I also use coconut
oil and the leftover coffee grounds to make a really good body scrub that
reduces cellulite.
3. Clean Your Face
Keeping your face clean is essential for great skin condition. If
you’re not already, you should be washing your face twice a day, once when you
wake up and once before you go to bed at night. Never go to sleep with your makeup on! Also, sometimes whe cleaning your face use a simple face scrub but
don’t use soap, it’ll dry out your skin.
There are some specific things you can do to improve your face
washing technique too. You should first rinse your face with warm water, and
then wash it, before rinsing it with cold water. The warm water will open your
pores allowing for a deeper clean and then the cold water will close them. Also
don't rub your face with the towel, just press lightly to remove excess water.
4. Don’t Smoke
If you want good skin, you’ll have to eliminate anything from your
lifestyle that causes damage to your skin. And one of the worst things you can
do for your skin is smoke. We all know about the many dangers brought about by smoking, and damage to your skin is just one of them.
Smoking damages your blood vessels, and this means that less
oxygen will reach your skin, causing more damage to it. Smoking can also
increase your chances of skin cancer and will cause you to age more quickly.
But if you are a smoker, the best way to protect your skin
is to quit, but that is easier said than done. All you can do is try to reduce
you smoking habit, keep your skin always clean and hydrated.
5. Improve Your Diet
Your diet can play a
big part in the condition of your skin, so don’t forget to pay attention to
what you eat. Omega 3 is great for your skin. The main food that has lots of
Omega 3 is oily fish like mackerel, trout and salmon.
Your skin can be helped a lot by sulphur, it gives your skin a
lift and limits the wrinkles and sagging that you might experience. If you want
to take in more sulphur, start eating more onions and garlic. Try to avoid food
that is high in bad oils and fat.
We have to admit, most of us suffer problems with our skin at some
point in our lives. You need to know how to get past the problems when they
arise though, and these 5 tips I think will help you do that.
Do you have more tips for
me? I would like to hear you out!
